This festival has from the humble beginnings grown from strength to strength and has undoubtedly reached a national event status. This growth is primarily and initially from the Nelson Mandela Bay Metro also seeing revellers from all over the country’s nine provinces trek down to Port Elizabeth to enjoy the festival.

Over the 5 years of Ebubeleni’s existence, the festival can pride itself for contributing immensely to the economy of the city through visitors attending the event increasing on tourism, creating temporary jobs, Tour Operators, Caterers and other event Service Providers (Technical, Security etc.) and providing a platform for local artists to showcase their talents and bringing entertainment to the people of the Bay.
