Look at what’s on offer at the 2018 St George’s Fair this Saturday

The countdown down is on for the 2018 St George’s Schools Fair this weekend and the organisers are very excited to offer a day of fun for the whole family from 10h00 until 21h00.

"Food and Market stalls and kids entertainment are open from 10h00 to 16h00! Lots of tasty eats, a wide range of goods for sale, kids crafts and entertainment, tea garden and soft-play area for the smaller kiddies, pony rides, kiddies tombola stall, go-karts and paintball, we also have entertainment lined up to suit all ages - African Drumbeat, Animals in Wonderland, plus bar opening at 12 noon with music by The Sunshine Band, all ending with a live-stream of the rugby match between SA and England in our beer tent!" says Alex Hall, St George’s Schools Campus Head.

He adds that without question, the Fair has become one of the highlights of the St George’s calendar, organised by an incredibly dedicated team of volunteers, bringing together pupils, current parents, past pupils, staff and friends of St George’s.

"The Fair also connects us to the wider PE community. In addition to strengthening our sense of community, the Fair plays an important fundraising purpose, benefitting every pupil in our school.

"The Fair can’t flourish without our staff and family volunteers who give up their time to help in the different venues at the Fair. Let’s all embrace the wonderful St George’s family spirit and get involved with this year’s Fair – volunteer for your class stall, sell lucky draw tickets, donate jars for the Kiddies Tombola stall and simply come and enjoy the day – there are so many ways to participate and celebrate the Fair and we appreciate everyone’s involvement," says Hall.
