Man arrested selling dagga at Walter Sisulu University campus

Mthatha - Mthatha Vispol members were conducting patrols when they received an information about a man selling dagga at the Walter Sisulu University campus on Tuesday, at about 23h00.

"They arrested a 42-year-old man, who is not a student at the university," said police spokesperson, Captain Dineo Koena.

"He was found in possession of dagga weighing 5,628kg with the street value of R5 628 and R1 245.10 in cash."

She said that the man will appear before Mthatha Magistrate's Court on Wednesday for delaing in dagga.
