Miarestate now managed by Mantis

The Mantis Collection has extended its portfolio of boutique hotels in South Africa with the addition of Miarestate Hotel and Spa on the Wild Coast. Miarestate is located outside Haga Haga, 65km from East London airport where it encompasses 740 hectares.

The first black-owned 5-star game reserve and resort in the Eastern Cape, it is currently undergoing a number of enhancements to strengthen its position as an exclusive 5-star family destination of choice, catering for children of all ages.

Miarestate is surrounded by rolling lawns with panoramic views from nine guest rooms, including two Executive rooms with private plunge pools. In line with the Mantis philosophy, Miarestate highlights the importance of nature, culture and beauty, whilst offering guests the ultimate in luxury accommodation.

Overlooking the long beaches, green hills and deep valleys of the Wild Coast, it combines beach and bush with luxury facilities, gourmet cuisine, pampering Spa treatments, daily game drives, local heritage and warm Eastern Cape hospitality. With no dangerous predators, guests are free to explore the reserve.

Activities include game drives, horse riding, hiking and mountain biking, including a challenging 35km mountain bike trail for advanced cyclists, and private access to a secluded, unspoilt beach and lagoon.

Mantis has released an introductory special offer that is valid throughout February, until 24 March 2016, from R1595 per person sharing per night, on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis.
