One Land Love It to host a beach clean-up in Port Elizabeth

Port Elizabeth-based Non-Profit Organisation, One Land Love It (OLLI), which is involved in activities to help raise funds for SANParks rangers in their fight against rhino poachers, has arranged for a Wild Side beach clean-up to take place at the Bushy Park Farm in Seaview, Port Elizabeth.

According to the OLLI team, their members, Andrew Stewart and Dave Pattle, walked the Bushy Park area a couple of weeks ago and were shocked by the rubbish they found, which endangers our wildlife.

So, in the spirit of the OLLI #JointCustody campaign, they have organised a clean-up event that is open for anyone willing to lend a helping hand.

Those with bakkies can help transport volunteers down to the beach. Black bags will be also provided, as well as a trailer on the beach.

OLLI "Racing Extinction" T-Shirt orders will be taken for those interested, as well as items in their online OLLI Shop. See https://www.oneland.co.za/shop-online/overview for more items.

The money raised is for the organisation’s conservation efforts.

This event is child-friendly, so feel free to bring the whole family along for the sake of making a difference.

The team is trying to organise refreshments for the day, so bring some change along.
