Police appeal for help in finding missing Port Elizabeth woman

Port Elizabeth - Algoa Park detectives in Port Elizabeth have appealed to the public for assistance in finding a missing woman.

"Algoa Park detectives are urgently trying to trace a 29-year-old woman, who went missing from her home in Milkwood Street in Algoa Park on Monday, 12 August 2019 and has not yet returned," said police spokesperson, Col Priscilla Naidu.

According to police information, Nombeko Qalaka left home in the morning to take a child to Ebenezer School.

"This is routine as every day and she picks up the child in the afternoon as well," Col Naidu said.

"On this day, the child was not picked up from school.

"She was last wearing a blue shirt and white pants with navy blue shoes."

Anyone who may have seen Ms Qalaka or may know of her whereabouts is asked to contact D/Sgt N Xatasi on 041 4091000 or 078 957 1160 or Crime Stop 08600 10111.
