Police appeal for help in identifying man killed and dumped at Struandale

It appears man was shot somewhere and dumped at Struandale, Port Elizabeth

Port Elizabeth - Algoa Park police in Port Elizabeth are urgently trying to trace the next of kin of an unidentified body, which was found lying in Struanway in Struandale on 19 December 2018. 

According to police information, the man appeared to be between 30-40 years old. 

"He sustained a gunshot wound to his head as well as other bruises on his body," said police spokesperson, Col Priscilla Naidu.

"Police suspect that his body was dumped there.

"At the time he was wearing a white tracksuit top with blue stripes on the sleeves, pants and shoes."

Port Elizabeth police need help identifying man

Col Naidu said that police are investigating a case of murder.

"Anyone who can assist in identifying him or may know of someone that has been missing since December 2018 is asked to contact D/Const Wayne Appolis at SAPS Algoa Park on 064 014 8096."
