A 27-year-old Libode man is expected in court soon after he was arrested for possession of an unlicensed firearm and unlawful possession of ammunition at Msintsana locality Mkankatho A/A, in Libode, on Wednesday, at about 16h30.

Both the firearms will be sent for ballistic testing.

"Let's stop the proliferation of firearms in our area because they are in wrong hands. We notice and appreciate the communities that always assist in fighting crime. Everybody must join hands with us in fighting crime," said Acting Cluster Commander, Brigadier Nomawethu Makonza.
