Police investigating culpable homicide case after Flagstaff accident involving nine vehicles

Flagstaff police investigating culpable homicide following an accident over the weekend involving several vehicles.

"On Saturday, Flagstaff police opened a case of culpable homicide after a truck drove into eight vehicles on the R61 road," described police spokesperson, Capt Nozuko Handile.

"Fifteen people were injured three males, ten females and two kids -  aged nine and four years. The injured people were taken to Holly Cross hospital for medical attention."

She said that two males passed on ages 25 and 28 years.

"The names of the deceased are still withheld until all relatives have been informed."
