Police need help identifying body of man who died two months ago
Msobomvu police are appealing for community assistance with identifying the body of an unknown man, who died in hospital about two months ago after a short illness.
"It is alleged that the deceased fell ill on Monday, 08 May 2017, while he was walking along Centane Road, in Zizamele Township, Butterworth," described police spokesperson, Captain Jackson Manatha.
"He was taken to Butterworth Hospital where he later passed away.
"The deceased was staying alone in his shack at Zizamele Township, Butterworth."
Captain Manatha said that the man was commonly known as Ntate.
"Anyone who knows the deceased and his family is requested to contact Detective Constable Mamela Tshukutshela of Msobomvu Police Detectives on 079 190 8304 or 047 4920 0301," he said.
"An inquest docket has been opened for further investigation."
