Port Elizabeth mum shot dead in her driveway by armed hijackers
Police in Port Elizabeth are investigating a case of murder and attempted murder after a 51-year-old woman was gunned down in her driveway at her Sydenham home as she wrestled with one of three armed hijackers on Wednesday night.
According to police information, the shooting happened along Coventry Road, in Sydenham, at about 8.30pm, after three men approached the woman and her 21-year-old son in the driveway after he had picked her up from work.
