Port Elizabeth police suspect man's body was only dumped at Blue Horizon

Port Elizabeth - Kabega Park detectives in Port Elizabeth on Tuesday appealed to the public for assistance with information that can help them in their investigations after the body of a man was found in Blue Horizon.

"Kabega Park detectives are on the hunt for a suspect/suspects after a body of an unidentified man was found lying on the side of the road on the Blue Horizon Bay Road," described police spokesperson, Col Priscilla Naidu.

According to police information, a motorist noticed the body at about 08:00 on Tuesday morning.

"The man believed to be about between 25-30 years old sustained multiple stab wounds on his head.

"His hands and feet were bound. He is unknown at this stage," she added.

"He has a tattoo on his head.

"Police suspect that his body was dumped on the side of the road."

Police need help solving case

Col Naidu said that a homicide case is under investigation.

"Police is appealing to anyone who can assist them in their investigation to contact SAPS Kabega Park on 041 397 6867," she appealed.

"All information is strictly confidential and callers have the right to remain anonymous."
