Port Elizabeth police need help tracing missing Zwide man

Port Elizabeth - Mount Road Detectives, in Port Elizabeth, are seeking the community’s assistance in tracing a 75-year-old man, who went missing on Thursday last week.

"On the mentioned date, Patrick Novusha was with his wife at the Provincial Hospital in Port Elizabeth," said police spokesperson, Capt Johan Rheeder.

"At some stage, he went outside and his wife also followed him out. She then went back in to fetch her bag and when she returned, he was gone. She searched the surrounding area for him but with no success.

"Novushu was wearing brown trousers and a navy jacket."

Capt Rheeder said that Novusha resides in Koyana Street in Zwide, Port Elizabeth.

"Police visited hospitals in the area in an attempt to trace him but with no positive results."

Capt Rheeder said that local police are appealing to anyone who can assist in locating Novushu to urgently contact D/Sgt Thabo Mangcangaza on 0634092648 or 0413946136 or Crime Stop 08600 10111 or their nearest police station.
