Port Elizabeth, Uitenhage received much of the rain that fell over the region

Port Elizabeth - According to rainfall data released by the Port Elizabeth office of the South African Weather Service, most of the rain that fell on Monday was recorded in Uitenhage, Port Elizabeth and Cape St Francis.

"The rainfall was mainly restricted to the coastal belt and adjacent interior around the Nelson Mandela Bay area," described Garth Sampson, SA Weather Service Client Liaison Officer for the Eastern Cape.
