Some good rains recorded across the Eastern and Southern Cape

Port ElizabethAccording to data released by the Port Elizabeth office of the South African Weather Service, Port Alfred, 3rd Avenue Dip in Port Elizabeth, Port Elizabeth Airport, Riverstone Bridge and George, received much of the rain that fell over the Eastern and Southern Cape on Monday.

Patensie, where the catchment areas of the Nelson Mandela Bay are located, received 21mm. Kareedouw and Kouga Dam - also sources of water for the Bay received 17mm and 10mm respectively.
