South Africa’s most fun airline enter into codeshare agreement with Dutch airline
kulula.com on Monday announced that it has entered into a codeshare agreement with KLM Royal Dutch Airlines. The codeshare agreement with South Africa’s most successful low-fare airline will come into effect from 29 May 2018. This will be kulula’s second codeshare partnership with a SkyTeam Alliance member following the successful implementation of the codeshare agreement signed with Kenya Airways in 2014.
Under this partnership, KLM will add its KL code to kulula.com’s domestic route network allowing customers to seamlessly connect to and from Cape Town, Durban, George and East London and enjoy the benefits of purchasing a single KLM ticket with the convenience of one-stop check-in and baggage transfer.
In addition to the above benefits, in the future, premium KLM customers will have access to the Comair’s award winning SLOW lounges conveniently situated in the domestic terminals at OR Tambo International, Cape Town International, King Shaka International and the newest addition the SLOW XS lounge at Lanseria International airport.
Erik Venter, Comair’s Chief Executive Officer says “We are delighted to be adding KLM as a key airline partner by entering into a codeshare agreement, effective from today. KLM is a key airline partner and we will continue to work with them to explore opportunities to expand on our partnership. We are committed to provide their customers with the warmest of welcomes and best service on board our flights”.
Bookings will be open from the 29th on www.kulula.com
