South African Maritime Industry Conference 2017 coming to Nelson Mandela Bay
The South African International Maritime Institute (SAIMI) is bringing the second South African Maritime Industry Conference (SAMIC) to the maritime hub of Nelson Mandela Bay.
The conference will be held at the Sun Boardwalk Convention Centre in Port Elizabeth from Wednesday, April 5 until Friday, April 7 2017.
“The past five years have been abuzz with the development and expansion of the maritime economic potential of South Africa and the African continent. SAMIC 2017 will provide a strategic opportunity to engage in conversations with government, industry, investors, entrepreneurs, academia and civil society on developing South Africa’s ocean economy and delivering on its maritime agenda,” says the CEO of SAIMI Professor Malek Pourzanjani.
The conference also provides a platform for creating new relationships and partnerships within Africa and abroad that can also be sustained beyond the SAMIC 2017 conference.
