Spend your 67 minutes for Mandela Day with the Radisson Blu Hotel

As part of their contribution to Mandela Day, the Radisson Blu Hotel is teaming up with Pick n Pay and Algoa Cares, to make soup and sandwiches that will be distributed to ten different beneficiaries.

The goal is to make 2 500 litres of soup and 10 000 sandwiches by the end of the day. These will be shared among the different beneficiaries.

Food parcels and pet food donations to the value of R67 will also be accepted throughout the day for selected beneficiaries.

The South African National Defence Force will also hold a demonstration with their BK117 Helicopter.

Tents will be set up on Pollock Beach across the road from the Radisson Blu Hotel on Saturday the 15th of July.

Radisson Blu chefs will be there early in the morning setting up everything, but the event will start at 9am and end around 5pm.

The selected beneficiaries are; Animal Anti-Cruelty League, Cat Care, Algoa Bay Council for the Aged, POPS Foundation, Siyanqoba Soup Kitchen & Malukhanye Pre-School, Love Story, Healing Hands, Missionvale Care Centre, Walmer Community Development Forum, and Care Haven Psychiatric Centre.
