Suspect arrested for break-in at school in Mthatha
A Mthatha man is expected to appear in court on charges of theft following a breaking in at a local school, Zwelodumo Senior Secondary School, where he allegedly stole a number of tablets, laptops, projectors, printers and phone chargers.
"Police followed the information at Mandela Park and arrested a 29-year-old man and recovered 25 tablets, four laptops, five overhead projectors, two printers and eighteen phone chargers," said police spokesperson, Lt Col Mzukisi Fatyela.
"The suspect will appear before Mthatha Magistrate's Court on Monday."
Zwelodumo Senior Secondary School has been broken into on several occasions over the past few years and computers have been stolen on each occasion.
