Susspects busted in Phumlani following robbery and assault in East London
East London Detectives and a Crime Prevention team proceeded to Phumlani following information on an East London robbery and an assault with intention to cause grievous bodily harm charge that were reported in East London.
"Three male suspects, between the ages of 20 and 35, were arrested for robbery and other male suspects, 20 to 40 years old, were arrested for dealing and possession of drugs, which were found in their possesion," said police spokesperson, W/O Hazel Mqala.
She said that the drugs are worth an estimated value of R1 218.
"24 full moon mandrax tablets and 17 tik tablets were booked in as exhibits."
All suspects will appear in the East London Magistrate's Court on Monday.
