Tavcor VW supports Alexander Road High School Driver Programme

The Alexander Road High Driver Education Programme was launched in 2017 thanks to the partnership with TAVCOR Volkswagen.

Tavcor VW have continued their support for this year by supplying the school with a brand new and suitably branded New Polo Vivo.

“This programme has become an integral part of our Life Orientation syllabus and serves, not only to offer our pupils an in-house opportunity to obtain their learners and driver’s licence, but also educates them about responsibility, road safety and respect for other motorists. We are sincerely grateful to Tavcor VW for making the opportunity possible to extend the education of our children” said Dr Peter Manser, Principal of Alexander Road High.

Martin Taverner, General Manager New Sales at Tavcor VW says that “Tavcor is thrilled to be able to support this initiative again this year and to be able to offer the learners this wonderful opportunity”.

To date over 200 Alexans have completed the K53 learner driver programme and approximately 30 have passed their driver’s licence.
