There millions of apps that continuously get downloaded, some costing money while others offer their services for free.

It goes without saying that the best performing apps out there will cost you a pretty penny, but don’t let that get you down. There are actually great deals of free apps out there that can compete with the others.

1Weather

Looking for an accurate and trusting weather app? Then you can’t get much better than 1Weather. It comes with all kinds of stuff including current conditions, forecasts, radar, predictions, and fun facts about meteorology, graphs, and even a sun and moon tracker.

Do you love taking and editing videos on you android device? Then Quik is the app for you! Quik is a video editor app created by GoPro. It’s one of only a precious few video editing apps and this one is entirely free.

The app will take video that you’ve captured and then string it together in a sort of video collage. You’ll have complete control over how long those clips are, where to make cuts, and there are some effects and additional stuff you can add to top it all off.

Of course while it doesn’t compare to the desktop editing apps such as Final Cut and Adobe Premiere, but for mobile users it works surprisingly well.

Finding stuff on there is rather simple. The only bad part is the advertising can get annoying but it’s easy enough to ignore.
