The HINO 500 has what it takes to get the job done right, the first time, every time!

The Hino 500 Series is up for any challenge. Powerful direct injection diesel engines and a light aluminium transmission case reduce overall weight, thus improving fuel economy and increasing load capacity.

When it comes to driver comfort, the interior was designed to provide the best operability – with a low profile and uncluttered belt line to secure excellent frontal vision and a functional instrumental panel that is designed to be easy to see and easy to use, further reducing driver fatigue.

The Hino range of medium and heavy commercial vehicles, namely the 300 and 500 series now have new industry leading warrantees in place. The previous warranty was for 12 months on everything and 24 months on the drive line to 150 000km.

The new warranty is for 24 months on everything and there is no kilometre restriction. Service intervals have also been extended on the 300 series to every 20 000km and on the 500 series to 30 000km.

For the duration of the warranty, you also have 24 hour roadside assistance with trained technical staff to attend to your requirement. Together with this, is Hino’s new two-year parts warranty.

Hino SA launched the two-year parts warranty policy on 1 September 2016. This two-year warranty will apply to parts purchased and fitted in a Hino Dealership for the period of two years or 200 000kms, whichever occurs first.

The two-year parts warranty is a re-affirmation of Hino SA’s confidence in the quality of manufacture, durability and reliability of Hino Parts. The warranty comes at no additional cost to the customer.

The validation for the warranty process will be through e-Hino Service Plus system logged against the job card number and kilometre when the part was supplied and fitted.

To enjoy the two-year parts warranty, the vehicle must maintain a full service history at a Hino Dealership from the date of fitment and repairs to the vehicle.
