THE NEW BUZZWORD: Try the Buzz Factory for culinary revolution and gastronomic delights

Many of us enjoy eating out, but what really separates a memorable dining experience from an average one? Of course the food has to be delightful – in any case, we are there to eat, but I think factors like comfort, a convivial social atmosphere and service excellence are non-negotiables. This is why you must try the Buzz Factory!

I recently lunched at this fine establishment, situated at the Sunridge Village Shopping Centre, with a work colleague and we both left very impressed.

Upon entering, we had been warmly received Lullar, the restaurant’s manager, who also ushered us to our table. Happily seated, we were faced with the tricky task of ordering from the Buzz Factory’s impressive and diverse menu of meals, burgers and steaks.

Our drinks orders taken, we took a moment to admire the choice of décor, which consisted of an industrial finish teamed with splashes of yellow and black – defiantly a pleasant sight to behold.

Boasting a full Tepanyaki bar, Buzz Factory also includes a well-stocked bar and a separate smoking section.

Having received our drinks, and with the décor momentarily distracting us from the menu, we had to make that crucial decision about our meals from their truly tempting menu. After much thought, I opted for pan fried prawns, topped with pesto and zesty lemon dressing as starter, while my colleague selected the home cured beef carpaccio with parmesan shavings.

Wanting something with a bit of extra meat, I ordered a 200g rump steak with Mediterranean style vegetables topped with a combination of rich blue cheese compound butter and mushroom merlot sauces as my main. My colleague decided to go for the Seafood snack platter which consisted out of prawns, mini fish fillets, deep fried calamari and fish cakes, served with chips and dill mayonnaise.

A few moments later, we were presented with generous portions of what could only be described as amazing. The taste and quality of our respective dishes, however, made us wonder if we had just discovered dining heaven. Both our starters and mains were bursting with flavour and colour.

The service and pricing also complemented our meals perfectly. I cannot wait for my next eat out!
