Three alleged stock thieves expected in Willowvale court
Willowvale police arrested three men, aged 32, 37 and 54 years old, for possession of stolen stock.
"The trio was arrested on Thursday, at about 15:00, at Nkelekethe Village, in Willowvale," said police spokesperson, Captain Jackson Manatha.
"Police saw a white Toyota avanza, which looked suspicious. Police stopped the vehicle and found five goats inside the avanza with the suspects."
Captain Manatha said that police questioned the suspects and they failed to give a satisfactory explanation about the goats.
"They were then arrested and charged with possession of stolen stock," he described.
The trio is due to appear before the Willowvale Magistrate's Court on Friday.
