Toyota Industrial Equipment opens new East London premises

Optimising what Toyota Forklift can do for you, the customer, is the key message of Toyota Industrial Equipment’s new East London premises, which were officially opened on Thursday.

While Toyota Industrial Equipment, a division of the EIE Group, has been operating in the East London region of the Eastern Cape since 1990, the new premises mark the launch of exciting new initiatives to enhance and streamline customer service.

These include the new building offering workshop, service and maintenance, and parts facilities, in line with the company’s successful business model to provide its customer with a total solution.

In addition, plans to locate technicians in the outlying areas of the province, including Mthatha and Queenstown, will bring Toyota Industrial Equipment’s expertise right to the doorstep of its customer base, enhancing service and response time.

Toyota Forklift delegates at the opening will include global and local representation, with Yoichiro Yamazaki from Toyota Industrial Corporation (TICO), Hiroyoshi Yoshika from Toyota Tsusho Corporation (TTC) togetherwith Gary Neubert and Shumani Tshifularo from Toyota Industrial Equipment, as well as Vuyo Bangazi, General Manager of the Eastern Cape region for Toyota Industrial Equipment.

Our exciting new plans for the East London region are an expression of our commitment to maintaining our position as a partner of choice in this region, by proactively servicing our customer’s evolving needs,” says Gary Neubert, EIE Group’s CEO.

“The opening of these new premises is also an opportunity for us to express our deep appreciation for the loyalty that has been shown to us by the customers in the Eastern Cape and to reconfirm our pledge to delivering optimal life-time value for our customers.”

Toyota Industrial Equipment’s East London branch provides customers the full suite of the company’s best-in-class brands for materials handling and warehousing, container handling, industrial cleaning and industrial power, WITH support over the complete product lifecycle.
