Port Elizabeth police arrest suspects with stolen motorbike and dagga in Malabar

Port Elizabeth - Three men are expected in court soon after they were busted by Port Elizabeth for possession of stolen property and and dagga.

"On Wednesday, Port Elizabeth K9 members acted on information received of a possible stolen motorbike in the Humewood area," said police spokesperson, W/O Alwin Labans.

"Members followed up on leads and their investigation led them to Crossandra flats in Malabar, Port Elizabeth, where the stolen motorbike was recovered."

He said that further search resulted in the seizure of other stolen property as well as 6kg dagga, cash and a gas pistol.

"Three suspects, aged 31, 35 and 36 years old, were arrested and detained on charges of possession of suspected stolen property and possession of dagga. They are expected to appear in court soon."
