Two Ngcobo educators expected in court after the rape of three boys comes to light

Ngcobo - Two educators, including a school Admin Clerk, were arrested by Eastern Cape police for the alleged rape of three pupils from their schoo. Police did not identify the school.

"It is alleged that three boys, between  14 and 17 years, were allegedly  taken by the suspects to their place of residence pretending to assist them with homework," said police spokesperson, Captain Namhla Mdleleni.

"On arrival at the homes, they allegedly gave them alcohol and afterwards raped them.

"The rapes started during June 2019."

Capt Mdleleni  said that on Saturday, police were summoned about the rapes, arrested the suspects, and opened a case of rape.

"The suspects are aged between 30 and 49 years old. They will appear before the Ngcobo Magistrate's Court soon."
