Uitenhage detectives appeal for help in solving teen's murder

Detectives from SAPS Kwanobuhle, in Uitenhage, have appealed to the public for assistance with information that can help them in their investigation of a case of murder, after the body of a 19-year-old male was found by community members on Saturday, 23 July 2017.

"Police were summoned to the scene at about 05:05 that was on the corners of Rixana- and Lawrence Vincqi Road, Kwanobuhle, where the victim was found with multiple stab wounds to his chest," described police spokesperson, Captain Gerda Swart.  

"The victim, Siyabulela Boyce (19) was identified by his next-of-kin on the same day."

She said that anyone, who might be able to assist with information that could lead to the arrest of the suspect/s is requested to contact the investigating officer, Detective Warrant Officer Shaun Leonard on 071 687 2800, SAPS Kwanobuhle Detectives on 041 978 8800 or Crime Stop 08600 10111.
