Uitenhage police need help finding man missing since December

Uitenhage - Police in Kamesh, Uitenhage, have made an urgent appeal to members of the community to assist them in locating a missing 65-year-old man. 

"Daniel Schambreel was born on 9 September 1954 and was officially reported missing by his family on 6 December 2019, after he failed to return home in Acacia Avenue, Rosedale, Uitenhage," said police spokesperson, Captain Gerda Swart.

"Daniel Schambreel was last seen at 12:00 on 01 December 2019.  Schambreel was wearing green overall pants on the day that he went missing. 

"Schambreel is about 1,50m tall and weighs about 50kg. 

"Anyone with information about his whereabouts is urged to contact the investigating officer, Detective Warrant Officer Jean Muller at 073 976 8868 at SAPS Kamesh or SAPS Crime Stop 08600 10111."
