Unique and bespoke décor

Situated on the corner of Sixth Avenue and Prospect Road in Walmer, Port Elizabeth, Hullabaloo has developed a reputation for offering unique and custom-made furnishings for homes and businesses.

Anthea Wilmot, the owner, says; “Hullabaloo’s success has been in the development of locally-manufactured products. We have spent a huge amount of time and effort on sourcing the absolute finest décor and accessories while making sure we keep abreast of the latest trends.”

Walking into Hullaballoo is like entering Alibaba’s cave – their showroom is full of delights. From couches to sideboards, cushions to curtains, lamps, fabrics and tables, you’ll find a full range of décor items.

“We were born out of a love and flair for décor and furniture. We are a hardworking, enthusiastic team with a passion for people, décor and home interiors. We love meeting with new customers and we are always on the lookout for that perfect piece of furniture for our existing customers. Our greatest pleasure is assisting in making homes personal, special and beautiful,” adds Anthea.

Hullabaloo was founded in 2005, along Westbourne Road, PE, and as their reputation grew and their style matured, they outgrew their premises and moved to their current location in October 2011.

Anthea believes professionalism and passion has helped turn this store into a premier destination for the discerning and trendy home décorator.

“Hullabaloo was founded on the development of furniture and sofas, custom-made to the specific requirements of our customers. As a result we launched our own range of fabrics, which provides our customer with the best for less.

“Custom-made curtains and blinds have proven to be a great success and the superior finishes are the cherry on top for our customer in turning each décor project into a beautiful space. We also offer a wide variety of small gifts and trinkets with new stock coming in on a regular basis, thus creating that element of surprise for our customers,” she describes.

Why shop at Hullaballoo? Well, firstly, their products are unique and are often customised to each buyer’s unique taste. Secondly, they offer a full range of décor, which allows you to décorate an entire room in a complementary manner without having to hop from shop to shop. Thirdly, it is possible to buy furnishing off the floor. The showroom is packed with a large variety of unique items which can be purchased on site in an instant.

Anthea concludes; “Hullabaloo remains true to its name, an ‘exciting fuss’. We are passionate about our customers and passionate about beautifying their homes. Pop in and see how we can help you.”
