Unwind into 2016 with Balance Holistic Therapies

The 2015 Christmas parties and travels are probably somewhat of a memory now as most of us prepare to face the challenges or opportunities brought by the New Year. One sure way to ready your mind and body for tackling whatever this year has in store is to go for a holistic massage – and this is where Balance Holistic Therapies comes in.

Chaune, the owner, qualified as a massage therapist in 2013 and holds an ITEC International Diploma in Holistic, Swedish and Sports massages. In October last year, she opened Balance Holistic at 1 Gorse Avenue in Newton Park, Port Elizabeth.

I found her new premises easy to locate (thanks to signage designed by BJ’s Printing) and welcoming with a relaxing and serene feel - thanks to the rustic décor.

Massages are her passion and I learnt that she has trained in many different types of therapies, such as the Holistic/Swedish massage, Sports Therapy massage, Pregnancy and Baby massage, Hot Stone and the Reptile massage (which will be available in March 2016), in order to accommodate your every wants and needs.

“At Balance Holistic Therapies, we provide various types of massage techniques to cater for everyone’s needs - from businessmen and women on the go, to the athlete training for the next competition, even expecting moms or for anyone who just needs to relax,” Chaune said.

She believes that regular massage treatments can reduce a person’s anxiety levels and helps to improve their productivity – a good for anyone hoping to make 2016, a good year.

“Regular massage therapy has great health benefits and improves the body’s immune system. It is the perfect way to help destress and to relieve tension.

“Each of our treatments takes all of the human senses into consideration, from the music you hear to the fragrances you smell, everything will relax you,” she added.

Chaune will soon be qualified in the Indian Head Massage as well as in Reflexology and Aroma.

For your convenience, she now sells her own health and spa range called Balance, which consists of body scrubs, foot soaks and more, so you can try them out at home, - and let’s not forget the delicious eats and treats by Despicable Cake Creations, which she sells in store.

After a relaxing massage from Chaune, you can visit Hair by Sunet, which is just around the corner from her studio, for some more pampering. Don’t forget to ask her about Manna Delights for all your catering needs or call 084 260 5212.
