Swift response by Port Elizabeth police resulted in the recovery of another hijacked vehicle, this time a silver Ford Figo, in Parliament Street, Central, early on Thursday morning.

"The vehicle was hijacked from the complainant, a woman, on Wednesday when she arrived home from work at 23:15," described police spokesperson, Captain Andre Beetge.

"Two armed males pointed a gun at her in the driveway and took her vehicle.

"The tracker was activated and the vehicle was spotted and recovered in Central, about 45 minutes later by SAPS K9 Unit.

"No suspects were found at the vehicle."

On Wednesday, police said that they arrested 11 suspects after they were tracked down and arrested by police following a house robbery incident that occurred at a house in Ikamvelihle, in the Motherwell area of Port Elizabeth.

The men had also stolen a vehicle with a tracking device.
