The 7th of April will surely be a day to remember for South Africans, as people gathered in the masses in every province to let their voices be heard and their request for President Jacob Zuma to step down listened to.

In Port Elizabeth, Vuyisile Square was filled to the brim with supporters of the Save South Africa campaign and Anti-Zuma protesters as they all shouted for Zuma to go and resign. Mkhuseli Jack, the Eastern Cape convener who organised the gathering, was so overcome by emotion at the sheer amount of people and supporters, he broke down in tears.

Pastors and students stood at the podium in front of City Hall and gave their reasons as to why Jacob Zuma should step down, and that South Africa should not be run by a greedy and corrupt man.

Mkhuseli Jack closed the two hour rally by saying that another gathering has been arranged for the 27th of April, where he hopes even more people will be able to show their support.
