Visually evolving Tata Xenon XT now available

Aiming to bring a more visual enhancing aspect to the crucial double cab bakkie segment, Tata has added a limited run special edition model to its Xenon XT range, in the form of the Evolve.

Available in either two-or four-wheel drive, the latter by special order only, the Evolve mainly includes a number of aesthetics extras such as a stainless roll bar, nudge bar, two bar, unique black alloy wheels, black paint finish with white graphics on the rear quarter panels and doors, as well as special Evolve decals.

Inside, the interior has also been upgraded with the Evolve featuring black leather seats, Evolve branded floor mats and a Bluetooth compatible sound system with USB and satellite navigation.

Mechanically, the Evolve remains unchanged from the standard Xenon XT with power coming from a 2.2 turbodiesel engine that makes 110 kW and 320 N.m of torque. A five-speed manual gearbox is entrusted with sending the grunt to the rear or all four wheels with a diff-lock being standard on both.

The Tata Xenon XT Evolve 4x2 retails for R269 995.
