Willowvale police arrested a 49-year-old woman for possession of dagga.

"The suspect was arrested on Friday, at about 22:30, at Mjazo Locality, in Dadamba Village, Willowvale," said police spokesperson, Captain Jackson Manatha.

"Police acted on information that the suspect was in possession of dagga and she had also planted dagga plants in her garden."

Manatha said that police uprooted 10 dagga plants and also found loose dagga from the house of the suspect.
