Win with the Wilderness Foundation and Dulce Café

The Wilderness Foundation Africa, a project based conservation organisation, has teamed up with the Dulce Café in order to help raise funds to protect and sustain all life on earth for current and future generations.

During a media event hosted at the Dulce Café in Walmer Park, Port Elizabeth, on Tuesday, the Wilderness Foundation Africa announced the start of their Coffee with a Cause initiative, which will not only help to raise funds for conservation, but also provide those who contribute a chance to win big and spend two nights for two at the Leeuwenbosch game Lodge.

All this can be done by simply purchasing a cup or two of cappuccino from Dulce.

The Dulce and Wiesenhof franchise are committed to conservation and help support the Wilderness Foundation Africa by donating 60c for every cappuccino sold.

Andrew Muir, CEO of the Wilderness Foundation, spoke at the launch about how the sixth Mass Extinction has already begun, and that we as human being must do anything we can to stop it.

“Since we as humans have existed over three billions years, there have been five Mass Extinction events to date, the last one that took place caused the extinction of the dinosaurs. Now we are facing a sixth Mass Extinction event,” said Andrew.

“We need to understand that this particular Mass Extinction event which is just beginning has been caused by humans.”

Andrew emphasised that humans need to be the ones to correct the wrongs that have been done to the wildlife.

He reported the difference between the population of animals from a few decades ago and the dwindling statistics shocked the crowd.

The Coffee with a Cause initiative will continue until the 22nd of September 2018 when the lucky draw will take place to determine the winners.
