Young boys stumble upon remains of man, who had been missing since 2014

Centane police have opened an inquest docket after young boys, who were playing at Dakana Location, in Nontshinga Village, Centane, on Monday afternoon, found the bones of a man, who has been missing since 2014.

"The deceased was identified by the shoes he was wearing when he was last seen," described police spokesperson, Captain Jackson Manatha.

"He was identified by his family.

"The deceased was reported as a missing person to Centane Police in 2014."

Captain Manatha said that police and community members looked for him, but he was never found.

"An inquest docket has been opened for further investigation," he said.

"He was identified as Lalala Jako (26)."
