Bulls’ game-winning ability impresses White

The Bulls’ four try win against the Lions at Ellis Park means that they are now third in the United Rugby Championship standings and a place in the play-offs is definitely within their reach.

The Pretorians are currently just one point behind the Glasgow Warriors in second place, while only four points are between them and leaders, Leinster.

Jake White is undoubtedly impressed with his team’s ability to win games.

“I enjoy the fact that we are among the top teams in the standings, I like that we put the Bulls stamp on games and I also like that we can score four tries even when we are not at our best,” said the Pretorianers’ director of rugby.

According to the World Cup winning coach, the Bulls’ fate is now in their own hands.

“There is still pressure because fans want us to do well, while other teams are doing their best to beat us.”

However, White believes that it is much easier to handle pressure when you are successful than when a team is struggling with relegation problems.

He is also excited that a senior player like Wilco Louw can also make his comeback soon.

The strong forward gave the Bulls scrum a huge boost before a shoulder injury temporarily kept him away from the action.
