Several local flights due to depart from OR Tambo Airport in Kempton Park on Tuesday morning were delayed due to the freezing cold that has hit Gauteng in the past few days.
FlySafair says several of its flights have been delayed this morning due to ice on the planes’ wings. This early morning delay has meanwhile forced the airline to also adjust the departure times of its other flights.
The airline apologized to passengers for the delays.
Please note that some of our flights from OR Tambo in Joburg are delayed due to icing on the wings. Unfortunately, this also results in knock-on delays on our other flights.
Updates to follow as new departure times become available. Apologies for any inconvenience caused!
