Ex-girlfriend claims chat rhymer raped her
The chat rhymer, Sean “Diddy” Combs (54), was accused by his ex-girlfriend, Casandra Ventura (37), of rape and abuse.

These allegations came to light when Ventura filed a lawsuit in New York against Combs earlier this week. Ventura, who is a singer herself and was signed to Combs’ record label, claims that he “raped and physically abused her over a decade”.
This estranged couple was in a relationship from 2007 to 2018.
“After years in silence and darkness, I am ready to tell my story. Not only for myself, but also for other women who experience violence and abuse in their relationships,” Ventura said in a statement that The New York Times published.
In the lawsuit, Ventura claims that Combs began exerting a “pattern of power” over her shortly after they met in 2005. She was 19 at the time and Combs was in his thirties. She also claims that he drugged and beat her numerous times. She also says that he forced her to have sexual intercourse with male sex workers, and that he filmed these incidents.
Combs maintains that there is no truth to Ventura’s claims.
“Combs strongly denies these offensive and outrageous allegations,” Ben Brafman, Combs’ legal representative, said in a recent statement.
“For the past six months, Combs has been subjected to Ventura’s persistent demands of $30 million (about R550 million), under the threat that she would write a damaging book about their relationship. We reject this as blatant extortion.
“Despite Ventura withdrawing her threat, she has now decided to file a summons riddled with baseless and outrageous lies, with the aim of tarnishing Combs’ reputation and seeking payment.”
