This is Cyrus’ third and Purcell’s second marriage.

In 1993, she married the country singer Billy Ray Cyrus, after which he legally adopted her two eldest children. The couple welcomed three children together, namely Miley, Noah and Braison.

Hollywood writers still not satisfied in the midst of strike

The latest meeting between Hollywood’s striking screenwriters and top managers of streaming giants such as Disney, Universal, Warner Bros and Netflix has ended in a dead end according to the writers’ union, reports AFP.

This strike kicked off in May and negotiations resumed earlier this month after three months of silence from the streaming giants’ big bosses.

The parties are still locked in a dispute and Disney, Universal, Warner Bros and Netflix’s offer to raise wages, improve working conditions and limit the use of artificial intelligence to some extent was rejected by the writers’ union on Tuesday.

“We were met with a lecture about how good their one and only counter-offer was,” the writers’ union’s negotiating committee said in a statement about these talks.

“This was not a meeting to reach an agreement. It was a meeting to push us into a corner.”

The writers’ strike, which has been accompanied by an actors’ strike since mid-July, has brought a large part of the film and television industry to a standstill, and it is costing Hollywood millions of dollars a day.

“We will see you all back in the streets and show the companies what labor looks like,” the union added.

Several artists cut ties with talent manager Scooter Braun

Talent manager Scooter Braun recently parted ways with three of his most famous clients.

People reported that singers Demi Lovato and Ariana Grande, as well as Broadway actress Idina Menzel, cut ties with Braun shortly after.

Braun even made fun of himself in a post on X (formerly Twitter) and wrote: “Breaking news… I no longer manage myself,” in response to these artists’ announcements.

Neither Lovato, Grande nor Menzel provided reasons for their decision in the media.

USA Today reported that Braun and Justin Bieber, who have worked together since the singer’s career took off more than a decade ago, “haven’t spoken in months.”

It is not yet known whether these two have officially renounced each other.

Braun has also hit the media in recent years after singer Taylor Swift, whose former record label he bought over in 2019, accused him of refusing to let her buy the rights to her first six albums of music .

The “Anti-hero” singer was consequently forced to re-record these albums in an attempt to take back ownership of her music.

Serena Williams mom again

Tennis star Serena Williams and her husband, Reddit founder Alexis Ohanian, recently welcomed their second daughter, named Adira River Ohanian.

Williams’ husband announced the news on Tuesday, adding that both are “happy and healthy” after the difficult birth of the tennis star’s first child left her fighting for her life.

“I am grateful to report that our home is filled with love, a happy and healthy newborn baby girl and a happy and healthy mom,” Ohanian posted on Instagram along with a photo of him and his family.
