The Junior Springboks secured their place in the semi-finals of the o. 20-World tournament secured after they put in a great second half performance to beat Argentina.
After trailing 7-16 at half-time, the Junior Bokke threw everything into the battle to eventually triumph 24-16 at the Athlone Stadium in Cape Town.
South Africa will face Ireland in the semi-final on Sunday, while the other top-four play-offs will be between England and France.
Poor discipline and unforced errors cost the Junior Boks dearly in the first half and Argentina were therefore constantly on the front foot. The Boks had to stand up to defend and because of all the penalties, Argentina took the lead.
The Junior Bokke were able to score the first try of the game in the 27th minute with Juann Else diving over the goal line. But when JF van Heerden received a yellow card four minutes later, Argentina took advantage of the opportunity to take the lead at half-time.
A great fight back in the second half led to two missed tries by Corné Beets and sealed the victory for the Junior Boks.

Junior Springboks 24 (7): Tries: Juann Else, Corné Beets (2). Goals: Jean Smith (3). Penalty: Smith.
