Lisa with the red hair, the internet sensation who became famous for her funny reviews of the kykNET matchmaking series Farmer looking for a wifemarried her own farmer on Saturday.
Lisa, formerly Lisa van Rooyen, is now Lisa van Niekerk after she and Rudolph van Niekerk pledged eternal fidelity to each other at the beautiful Mooiplaas wedding venue just outside Bela-Bela (Warmbad) in Limpopo.
“Mr. and Mrs. From Niekerk. 7 October 2023,” Lisa wrote on Instagram about this couple’s wedding day.
They got engaged on Sedgefield’s beach in June 2022. RNews reported earlier that Lisa was shaking with excitement when Rudolph asked the big question.
“I was shaking so much that he struggled to get the ring on my finger,” Lisa told RNews at the time.
The couple met on 14 February 2020 in a hangout in Potchefstroom.
“Rudolph was (then) in East London and I was in Potchefstroom. We went on Zoom dates and talked to each other for hours. When he finally arrived back in Potchefstroom, it didn’t take long before he asked me out.”
The newlyweds are currently honeymooning on the West Coast.
