The Gauteng police are conducting an inquest after a man apparently fell to his death at the EFF’s birthday celebrations at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg last weekend.
Lt. Col. Mavela Masondo, police spokesperson, says the man apparently fell from level five to level two of the stadium on Saturday evening.
“It is alleged that the victim was dancing when he suddenly fell. The police took statements from eyewitnesses,” says Masondo.
EFF supporters from across the country marched to the stadium this weekend for the red berets’ ten-year celebrations.
