The body of a man (59) was found in his house in Erasmia on the northern outskirts of Centurion on Saturday morning.
The man’s hands were tied behind his back. The house was ransacked. The man’s car, a white Mercedes-Benz, was found abandoned early this morning in Laudium, west of Pretoria.
Col. Police spokesperson Dimakatso Nevhuhulwi says it does not appear that there was any forced entry into the house.
It is also not clear at this stage whether anything was stolen from the house, apart from the car.
The police are appealing to members of the public to report any information regarding the murder to the nearest police station or Stop Crime on 08600 1011.
