Adè Forsyth-Thompson (formerly Van Heerden), the former Miss. South Africa, who wore this prestigious crown in 2017, announced on Thursday that she will soon become a mother for the first time.

Forsyth-Thompson and her husband, financial analyst Alex Forsyth-Thompson, are currently teaming up in Greece.

The former beauty queen and medical doctor boasts a baby bump in a photo where she and Alex pose in swimwear next to clear blue water.

“A Greek holiday for three,” Forsyth-Thompson captioned the photo.

“We can’t wait to meet you in November, little boy,” the entry reads. The entry is topped off with a blue heart emoji.

The Forsyth-Thompson couple got married in October 2021 at the Mdluli Safari Lodge in the Kruger National Park, Mpumalanga.

It was an intimate event with only about 80 guests. The guests were entertained by The Kiffness and The Stinging Rogers Band.

In 2017, Adè was named first princess during the Miss. SA competition, which was won that year by Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters (now Tebow). However, she is later than Miss. SA crowned when Demi-Leigh as Miss. Universe is crowned.

She represented South Africa in 2017 at the Miss. Represented the World Competition in China and reached the top ten, as well as the “Beauty with a Purpose” prize.
