The Springbok team for the first World Cup match against Scotland is known and a total of 11 of the players who earlier faced the All Blacks at Twickenham have retained their place in the starting fifteen.
Damian Willemse, Kurt-Lee Arendse and Cheslin Kolbe form the back triangle, with Jesse Kriel and Damian de Allende the center combination.
Manie Libbok and Faf de Klerk are the link pair, while Jasper Wiese wears the no.8 jersey with Duane Vermeulen on the substitutes’ bench.
Frans Malherbe, Malcolm Marx and Steven Kitshoff form a formidable front row, while Eben Etzebeth will line up with Franco Mostert.
However, Canan Moodie and Jean Kleyn were not considered for the team because they are struggling with a slight hamstring and knee injury respectively.
Jacques Nienaber chose six forwards on the substitutes’ bench, while Grant Williams and Willie le Roux can make their appearance on the field later in the game.
The match starts at 17:45 on Sunday and the action will be broadcast live on SuperSport.
