South Africa’s Lloyd Harris advanced to the Australian Open after winning his qualifying matches.

The 26-year-old player finished with Daniel Rincon (6-2 and 6-2), Kyrian Jacquet (7-5 ​​and 6-4) and Hugo Gaston (6-0 and 6-2) to reach the first Grand Slam tournament of the new year.

Harris has impressed his senior with his hitting and he has sent down 28 chest shots in the three contests.

He will now face France’s Quentin Halys in the first round of the Aussie Open on Sunday.
