South African fans of the American cult book, movie and television series Sex and the City can soon pull on their heels and Cosmopolitan mixed drinks for a unique performance by this series’ creator, Candace Bushnell.
Showtime SA recently announced that Bushnell’s successful solo show, True Tales of Sex, Success and Sex in the Citywill be presented in September in Johannesburg and Cape Town.
In this production, the author takes audiences on a stylish whirlwind tour of her successful career and exciting life in New York.
She also shares some of her own tips, secrets and anecdotes while pouring pink cocktails.
Sex and the City began as a newspaper column that Bushnell for The New York Observer wrote from 1994 to 1996. It later became a book and an extremely successful TV series starring Sarah Jessica Parker.
